Ham Club Online is a platform designed to facilitate communication and collaboration among amateur radio clubs and their members. It offers various features tailored to the needs of amateur radio clubs, including tools for managing memberships, scheduling events, conducting meetings, sharing resources, and fostering community engagement. Ham Club Online aims to streamline club operations and enhance communication within the amateur radio community, enabling clubs to better serve their members and promote the hobby.
HCOL will advise club members when their membership, their Ham license, or other skills are about to expire as well as provide an easy link to renew them. Club voting can be provided to all members and not just those who were present. Voting can be done anonymously as well. Club announcements, upcoming activities, VE Exams, and other things can be automatically announced via email, text, or phone. Announcements can be targeted to a smaller group as well as the general audience.
We feel Ham Club Online will automate many of the routine task of club maintenance and make that information available to all club members. The difficulties that most clubs have in the hobby is keeping a good eye on their membership roster and finances and keeping their members up to date on club events. Simple items such as renewing their membership when expiring was a major feat for some clubs as the person who sent out the reminders has moved on, or an upset with the previous management left the new management with no information on the current state of the club. Ham Club Online is designed to be a neutral third party to organize our club information, roster, skills, calendar, files, finances and so on and to outlive bumps in the road of the growth of our Amateur Radio club.
