Join Us for ARRL Field Day!
The Joplin Amateur Radio Club will be participating in ARRL Field Day, and we invite everyone to join the fun! Field Day is the biggest on-air operating event of the year for amateur radio operators across North America. It’s part emergency preparedness exercise, part public outreach, and part just plain fun!
Whether you’re a seasoned ham, newly licensed, or just curious about amateur radio, Field Day is a great opportunity to get on the air, learn more about radio operations, and connect with fellow radio enthusiasts. We’ll be setting up radios, antennas, and logging contacts — all in a relaxed, educational, and welcoming environment.
Come see what amateur radio is all about and help us make contacts across the country. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and your enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing you there!
