The Joplin Amateur Radio Club (W0IN) is excited to announce a heartwarming holiday tradition that brings the magic of Santa Claus to life through the airwaves! Join us for The Santa Net, a special opportunity for children to talk directly with Santa Claus himself via ham radio.

๐Ÿ“ป What is The Santa Net?
The Santa Net is held every evening between Thanksgiving and Christmas on 3.916 MHz at 7:00 PM Central Time. Families across the country tune in to hear the holiday cheer as Santa speaks with children over the airwaves. Check-ins begin 30 minutes prior, so make sure to secure your spot early!

The Joplin Amateur Radio Club is hosting local sessions on the following dates:

  • Monday, December 2nd
  • Wednesday, December 4th
  • Monday, December 9th
  • Wednesday, December 11th

How to Participate

Weโ€™re accepting the first 10 children for each session via our signup sheetโ€”donโ€™t wait, spots are filling up fast! This is a wonderful way to share the joy of ham radio with your children, grandchildren, or neighborhood kids.
