The Joplin Amateur Radio Club (W0IN) is excited to announce a heartwarming holiday tradition that brings the magic of Santa Claus to life through the airwaves! Join us for The Santa Net, a special opportunity for children to talk directly with Santa Claus himself via ham radio.
๐ป What is The Santa Net?
The Santa Net is held every evening between Thanksgiving and Christmas on 3.916 MHz at 7:00 PM Central Time. Families across the country tune in to hear the holiday cheer as Santa speaks with children over the airwaves. Check-ins begin 30 minutes prior, so make sure to secure your spot early!

How to Participate
Weโre accepting the first 10 children for each session via our signup sheetโdonโt wait, spots are filling up fast! This is a wonderful way to share the joy of ham radio with your children, grandchildren, or neighborhood kids.
๐ Let your little ones experience the thrill of speaking directly to Santa over the airwaves. Itโs a memory theyโll treasure forever!
The Joplin Amateur Radio Club, JARC, will complete your link to Santa when you arrive for your assigned evening. You should try to arrive no later than 6:30pm on your chosen night. Santa Net will begin around 7:30pm, depending on conditions, so please dress appropriately for the weather.ย There are only 10 spots per evening do sign up early to reserve your spot.ย P.S. If you can help Santa by providing an age in advance, it would be helpful.
